What are Kanban and the KMP?
Kanban is a method for continuous improvement of workflow: visualise the work, limit work in progress and improve how value flows, without imposing a drastic reorganisation. Kanban University (formerly Lean Kanban University) is the reference authority and awards the KMP (Kanban Management Professional) path.
The KMP is earned by taking two courses: Kanban System Design (KSD, or KMP I) and Kanban Systems Improvement (KSI, or KMP II).

How you earn the certification (no exam)
Important: Kanban University certifications have no exam. The certification is awarded on completing the course, based on attendance (you must take the full course). You receive the certificate and Kanban University membership.
The full KMP path is earned by taking both modules: Kanban System Design (KSD) then Kanban Systems Improvement (KSI). Note: there is also a separate Kanban certification, ProKanban.org's PK1, which is validated by an online exam; Atypix offers it too.
How much do the Kanban courses cost?
The cost includes the official course (certification included, no exam). At Atypix, the price depends on the country of enrolment:
