What are Cisco certifications?
Cisco is the world leader in networking equipment, and its certifications are the industry benchmark. The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is the entry certification: it validates networking fundamentals (addressing, routing, switching, basic security, automation). The CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) is the professional level, with specialisations: Enterprise, Security, Data Center, Collaboration.

CCNA, then CCNP and its specialisations

Cisco exams
Cisco exams are delivered through the Pearson VUE network: online with proctoring or at an authorised centre. The CCNA is a single exam; the CCNP requires the core exam plus a specialisation exam.
Cisco certifications are valid for three years and renew (continuing education or a new exam).
How much do the Cisco courses cost?
The cost includes the preparation training; exam fees are paid to Cisco / Pearson VUE separately. At Atypix, the training price depends on the country of enrolment (example below for the CCNA):
