Marketing and Communications Manager

Take the Atypix brand to new heights: a consulting firm in transformation, agility, technology and project management, with offices in Montréal, Dakar and Cotonou, and soon Abidjan.

The role

Atypix is a consulting firm specializing in project management, organizational transformation, agility and technology. We support companies and institutions on complex projects, from setting up project management offices (PMOs) to developing software solutions, and we help them identify and recruit talent. We also train professionals and teams, in partnership with PMI, Scrum.org, PeopleCert, PECB and Management 3.0. Our offices are in Montréal, Dakar and Cotonou, and soon Abidjan.

Your mission: grow the reputation of the Atypix brand across all our business lines, with the standards of leading international firms, and generate business opportunities with organizations and professionals alike.

You report directly to the Managing Director and work daily with our consultants, the sales team and operations.

Brand strategy and positioning

  • Build and run the annual communication and marketing plan for all our activities, with senior management.
  • Establish Atypix as a consulting firm with executives, institutions and professionals.
  • Keep the brand consistent across all channels and countries, in line with our brand guidelines.
  • Monitor competitors and trends in our markets.

Content and thought leadership

  • Manage our LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages: editorial calendar, posts, community engagement.
  • Showcase our consultants' expertise: articles, case studies, white papers, speaking opportunities.
  • Produce useful, engaging content: carousels, short videos, client and alumni testimonials, webinars.
  • Bring AI tools into content production, with human review of everything published.
  • Keep atypix.com up to date: news, service pages, search engine optimization.

Lead generation and sales support

  • Launch campaigns for each of our business lines: consulting, software solutions, recruitment and placement, training and certification.
  • Support the launch of new offers, including our software solutions for SMEs and large enterprises.
  • Design sales materials: brochures, presentations, client references, tender response documents.
  • Organize or support our events: webinars, trade shows, business meetings, certificate ceremonies.

Performance

  • Track clear indicators (awareness, engagement, leads, business opportunities, enrollments) and report on them monthly.
  • Manage the communication budget and suppliers: designers, videographers, printers, agencies.
  • Support communication for our offices and the opening of new markets.

What will make the difference

  • You are curious and enjoy trying new tools and new formats.
  • You want to build and see the impact of your work, not just execute.
  • You see yourself here for several years and want to grow with the firm.

What we offer

  • A key role, working directly with the Managing Director, with real room for initiative.
  • Exposure to a wide range of activities: consulting, technology, recruitment and training, across several countries.
  • Skills development alongside certified consultants, with access to our training programs and certifications.
  • A starting salary suited to a growing firm, set to evolve with your results and responsibilities.

Please include links to two or three recent pieces of work (pages you managed, campaigns, content).

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (3 to 5 years of higher education) in communication, marketing, journalism or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in communication or marketing, in a company, an agency or as a freelancer.
  • Business-to-business (B2B) marketing or communication experience: consulting, digital services, training or professional services.
  • Experience managing professional LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages, with measured results.
  • Regular use of generative AI tools to produce content (text, image or video).
  • Proficiency with a design tool (Canva, Adobe suite or equivalent).
  • Basic video editing skills for short formats.
  • Excellent written French.
  • Knowledge of the Senegalese and West African media and digital landscape.
  • Proficiency with web tools: website management, SEO, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, email marketing (a plus).
  • Experience writing expert content: case studies, white papers, tender responses (a plus).
  • Professional written English (a plus).

What this role really demands

Four day-to-day realities, so that you can decide with full knowledge.

  • building the function on a tight budget
  • reporting monthly on the sales leads actually generated
  • managing a content creator, a community manager and vendors
  • saying no to a request that does not serve the strategy

How the hiring process works

  1. Apply online

Your resume, your salary expectation and a few questions about the role. You immediately receive the link to your assessment.

  2. A person checks the reading of your resume

Your resume is compared with the criteria of the job; a recruiter checks every result.

  3. 100-minute online assessment

A 60-minute job test, then a 40-minute questionnaire on how you work, in one or two sittings, within 7 days.

  4. Review of your application

Every application is opened by a recruiter. No decision is automatic, and you can submit observations before any unfavorable answer.

  5. Interview and decision

A structured interview and a short practical exercise with two people. Whatever the outcome, you can request your personal report, "My work profile".

Read the full information on how your data is processed

Atypix is the data controller. Your resume is analyzed to compare it with the criteria of the job; a recruiter checks every result. We then offer you a job-specific test and a questionnaire about how you work, which assesses certain aspects of your personality, for a total of about 100 minutes, which can be done in two sittings within 7 days. Your answers are used to review your application, to prepare your onboarding if you are hired and, in pseudonymized form, to improve our tests and check that they are fair. They are accessible only to the people in charge of recruitment at Atypix and to our technical providers, and may be hosted or viewed outside your country under the conditions set by law. No decision is made automatically: every application is reviewed by a person, and you can submit your observations for 5 working days before any unfavorable decision. Your data is kept for 6 months after the final decision on your application, or for 24 months after your last activity if you agree to join our talent pool, renewable at your request. You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing on legitimate grounds, and request a personal report, "My work profile", at [email protected].
