Node.js Developer, AI Agents and Automation
You build the atypix.com platform (website, e-learning, exam simulator, back office) and put AI to work wherever it saves time: agents, automations, AI-assisted development.
The role
Atypix trains and certifies project managers on three continents. The whole business runs on an in-house platform: bilingual public website, e-learning and PMP exam simulator, payments, CRM, quotes and invoices, marketing, recruitment. Much of it was built with AI coding assistants, and we want to keep working that way.
Your responsibilities
- Ship features end to end with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js and React, Tailwind and Supabase (Postgres, row level security, storage), on a Linux server with PM2 and nginx.
- Work daily with AI coding assistants (Claude Code or similar) while staying in charge of quality: review, test, fix.
- Integrate language models into the product and build agents that do real work, with guardrails.
- Automate the team's repetitive tasks with workflows (n8n, Make, Zapier or code), scheduled jobs, webhooks and APIs (WhatsApp, email, payments).
- Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot production, and apply security rules: role-based access, personal data, secrets kept out of code.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of web development with server-side JavaScript or TypeScript (Node.js); self-taught developers with live projects are welcome.
- Solid React, ideally Next.js; SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Daily use of AI coding assistants with a critical eye on their output.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one agent or automation you built that is actually used.
- Comfortable with Git and the Linux command line.
- Fluent French; able to read technical English.
- In your cover letter, link your GitHub or live projects. Shortlisted candidates will do a short practical exercise with an AI coding assistant.
